Today we did timelapse by taking the iPads outside 

and capturing pictures every second.

ANIMATING PORTRAITS CONTINUED ... 

New students Lucas, Julia and Chloe join WISP Warriors 

and begin to make portraits of their own.

          

Zeba creates a wonderful animation using a 

variety of materials to say what she wants.

Fawwaz moves the sand to create a great animation effect.

USING IPADS TO ANIMATE OUR PORTRAITS

We used different types of materials and made interesting animations out of them.  Some of us used some passionate quotes and others tried to show what they are like and how they feel inside their head. 

CREATING PORTRAITS TO ANIMATE ...

We first planned everything in our sketch books and improved our plan as we went through. Our sketch books were used as a record of our ideas.

Some of us used photocopies of patterns 

from books to create the background.

We looked at our portraits and talked about what we liked.

PHOTO PORTRAITS

We looked at some artist's portraits in the library to get ideas.

We discussed how the background of a portrait told us more about the person.

We liked the portraits by Yayoi Kusama and Yinka Shonibare.

We took photos of ourselves that we thought would portray our characters.
